
Enrique Hernández, also known as Kike, is a professional baseball player celebrated for his adaptability and energetic style of play in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on August 24, 1991, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has been part of various teams such as the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, Miami Marlins, and Houston Astros. Hernández was selected by the Miami Marlins during the sixth round of the 2009 MLB Draft and made his MLB debut on July 1, 2014, with the Houston Astros.
He also spent time with the Miami Marlins in 2014 before being traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on December 10 of that year. Kike played for the Dodgers from 2015 until 2020 and subsequently joined the Boston Red Sox from 2021 to 2023. On July 25, 2023, he returned to the Dodgers via trade from the Red Sox.
