Enrique José Hernández González Jr. is a professional baseball player and represents the Los Angeles Dodgers organisation in Major League Baseball (MLB). His hometown is in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and he went to the American Military Academy. Kike was drafted by the Houston Astros during the 2009 MLB Draft. He was picked in the sixth round, becoming the 191st overall pick for the Astros and made his MLB debut on July 01, 2014.

Hernandez has played for several clubs since his arrival in 2014. He started with the Houston Astros and Miami Marlins before being a regular utility player for the Los Angeles Dodgers between 2015 and 2020. During his time with the Dodgers, Hernandez won his first World Series in 2020. He transferred to the Boston Red Sox in 2021, where Hernandez played as a center fielder, second baseman, and eventually as a shortstop, before being traded back to the Dodgers in 2023. In 2024, he assisted the Dodgers in winning a second World Series championship. Internationally, he played with Puerto Rico during the 2017 World Baseball Classic and led the team to a silver medal.
