American pitcher Shane Bieber was born on May 31, 1995. He plays for the Major League Baseball (MLB) Cleveland Guardians. He was scouted as a walk-on to play college baseball at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and few other programs showed much interest in him. He enrolled at Santa Barbara after graduation as a walk-on for the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos baseball team.
