Hailing from Los Gatos, California, United States, Steven Robert Kwan has been an active member of the Cleveland Guardians since 2022. He made his MLB debut with the Cleveland Guardians on April 7, 2022, after the formerly named Cleveland Indians drafted him in the fifth round of the 2018 MLB Draft. Before he started his professional baseball career, Kwan was a college baseball player at Oregon State University for the Oregon State Beavers.

Since arriving in the MLB with the Cleveland Guardians, Steven Kwan has become a two-time MLB All-Star player with two AL All-Star awards to show for it. Moreover, he has also won two Rawlings AL Gold Glove Awards in his career.
