Yoshinobu Yamamoto is a Japanese professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on August 17, 1998, in Bizen, Okayama, Japan, he first gained prominence in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB), playing for the Orix Buffaloes from 2017 to 2023. Yamamoto dominated NPB, winning three consecutive Triple Crowns, three Pacific League MVP awards, and two no-hitters.
