The Black Ops 6 "HUENEME-NEGEV" error is one of the many network-related issues in the game. You will encounter this error when the game's client is unable to maintain a connection or connect to its servers. This prevents you from playing, even the Campaign mode since it now requires an internet connection always on.

If you're constantly encountering this error, you're locked out of the game completely. It can be both client-sided as well as server-sided. Unfortunately, if it's the latter, then there's nothing you can do, and must wait for Call of Duty to resolve it from their end.

However, if the servers are up, then it usually hints at an issue on your end. In that case, there are a couple of fixes you can implement to see if that resolves the error. With that out of the way, let's take a closer look at some of the possible fixes for the Black Ops 6 "HUENEME-NEGEV" error.

How to possibly fix the Black Ops 6 "HUENEME-NEGEV" error

Before you start with the Black Ops 6 "HUENEME-NEGEV" error fixes, make sure to check the Call of Duty server status. Proceed with these fixes only if the servers are up.

Here are some of the possible fixes for Black Ops 6 "HUENEME-NEGEV" error:

Restart your router

It shouldn't come as a surprise that the first thing you should do is restart your router, especially if it's been turned off for a while. Over time, your router builds up a large cache which can get corrupted. In that case, you'll encounter a plethora of network issues.

Hence, it's advised to restart your router as it clears the cache. To properly reboot your router, remove all the power cables from the device and let it be in an idle state for at least 30 seconds.

Then plug the cables back in and check if the error goes. If it does not resolve the issue, check out the fixes mentioned below.

Similar to cleaning your router cache, you can also clean your DNS cache if you're on a Windows PC. To do so, follow these steps in order:

  • Use the search box on your Windows 10/11 to find the Command Prompt.
  • Launch the Command Prompt.
  • Type "ipconfig /flushdns" (without the quotes) in the Command Prompt box.
  • Hit Enter to run the command.

If the DNS clearing process is complete, you will be presented with a message that reads, "Successfully flushed the DNS resolver cache."

Using a different connection

Not an ideal solution, but if you have a second connection at home, try playing the game with it. You may also use your mobile hotspot. If you are able to play the title now, it means your primary ISP is to be blamed, and in that case, it is advised to contact them.

  • Press Win+R and type "cmd" (without the quotes) in the Run box.
  • Then press Ctril+Shift+Enter to open Command Prompt with Administrator privileges.
  • Type “netsh interface teredo set state disabled” in CMD and hit enter.
