Although there are rumors of a Nintendo Switch 2 release, Call of Duty has not confirmed any details about it as of yet. Regardless, it's surprising that Activision still supports console hardware that is nearly 11 years old at this point. However, just like with Black Ops 6, expect a few cutbacks.

For instance, the Theater mode might be absent from the upcoming game, along with a few additional features. Moreover, the shooter has been confirmed to be a co-op experience. However, last-gen consoles, i.e., the PS4 and Xbox One, may not feature split-screen co-op. These are just some of the expected cutbacks and are not official.

But fret not if you are on a last-gen console, as you can experience the complete package of BO7 later this year.
