CoD 2024 Black Ops Gulf War will reportedly bring back an iconic rocket launcher from the original Black Ops title, as per a reliable insider's claim on social media. Moreover, the launcher's return seems possible when a few other leaked details on Black Ops Gulf War are also considered.

This article will mention all the information that players need to know regarding the rumored rocket launcher in CoD 2024 from Black Ops 1.

Note: Players need to take early leaks, claims, and rumors with a grain of salt unless there's an official update provided by the developers.

Grim Reaper rocket launcher from Black Ops 1 might return with CoD 2024 Black Ops Gulf War

Trusted insider @ForwardLeaks recently took to social media platform X, claiming that Grim Reaper should be returning in CoD 2024 Black Ops Gulf War. The rocket launcher was originally seen way back in 2010's first Black Ops installment.

The Grim Reaper made its appearance during Black Ops 1's Campaign missions, namely Numbers and Victor Charlie. Moreover, it was also used by characters Frank Woods and Joseph Bowman in the mission Crash Site.

In Black Ops 1's Multiplayer, the Grim Reaper rocket launcher was obtainable only from a Care Package. It could either lock onto killstreaks or be freefired. After firing a single rocket from the launcher, this weapon was considered deployed. The Multiplayer announcer would then declare the Grim Reaper's presence to both the teams in the match.

Speaking of the Grim Reaper's performance, it fired semi-automatically with a maximum fire rate of 125 RPM. Not to mention that it had heavy upwards recoil with each shot fired.

Coming back to the claim regarding the rocket launcher's return with Black Ops Gulf War, it seems like a possibility when considering another leak. A different account on X recently revealed a long list of leaked Scorestreaks from CoD 2024. Interestingly, the Grim Reaper's name was also mentioned there.

One can assume the rocket launcher is likely to make a comeback this year. However, fans should take all rumors and leaked data with a grain of salt as no official announcement for Treyarch's next premium Call of Duty installment has been made yet.
