Adryan Lara, born on November 16, 2003, is a college football quarterback who most recently joined the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. He commenced his high school football career at the Desert Edge High School where he was rated a consensus three-star prospect by ESPN. In his sophomore season, Adryan threw for 4,016 yards and 41 touchdowns and led the Scorpions to the 4A State final. Lara was regarded as one of the most prolific high school quarterbacks in the state of Arizona. He concluded his four-year prep career at Desert Edge recording 10,652 passing yards and 117 touchdowns while also rushing for 2,758 yards and 33 touchdowns.
The 6-foot, 220-pound quarterback from Goodyear embarked on his collegiate football journey with the Kansas State Wildcats after initially committing to Washington State Cougars during his sophomore year at Desert Edge. He also held offers from Fresno State, Iowa State, Kansas, Oregon State, and Arizona among others. Lara redshirted his first season with the Wildcats and failed to make an appearance in his redshirt freshman season in 2023. After not seeing any action for over two years, Lara decided to enter the transfer portal and committed to the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns with three years of eligibility remaining.
