Nicholaus Iamaleava Jr. is a college football player for the Tennessee Volunteers college football team in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) as of 2024-2025. A native of Long Island, California, United States, his football career started at Warren High School, where he was chosen as the Polynesian High School Player of the Year in 2022. He also participated in the Polynesian Bowl, where he was selected as the Offensive MVP of the game in 2022.

Nico Iamaleava started his college football career with the Tennessee Volunteers in 2023 after finishing his high school football career. He was the first redshirt freshman in the history of the Tennessee Volunteers to lead their team to 10 regular season wins, which started in 2024. Moreover, he has also gained recognition for being a dual-threat quarterback during his games. He also participated in the Citrus Bowl with his team in 2024, where he was chosen as the MVP of the game.
