Cade Klubnik is a college football player for the Clemson Tigers representing Clemson University. Hailing from Austin, Texas, Klubnik's prep career began at Westlake High School. Throughout his high school career, Klubnik passed for 7,426 yards and 86 touchdowns, securing three state championships. In his senior year, he was named the All-American Bowl Player of the Year, MaxPreps Player of the Year, and Gatorade Football Player of the Year for Texas.

As a five-star recruit, Cade Klubnik was recognized as the top quarterback in his class and committed to Clemson University. In early 2022, he enrolled at Clemson and embarked on his college football journey. During his freshman season, he served as a backup to DJ Uiagalelei. Klubnik took the lead in the ACC Championship Game. Klubnik's performance earned him the ACC Championship Game MVP title.

In the 2022 Orange Bowl, Klubnik made his first start for Clemson against Tennessee. Despite getting sacked four times, he threw for 320 yards, but Clemson lost the game 31-14.
