Born on March 2002, he began his football career during his high school years at Lee’s Summit North. During his senior year, Mozee earned first-team all-district and second-team all-state honors from the Missouri Football Coaches Association, as per Miami Redhawks' official wesbite.

Thereafter, he began his collegiate career with Kansas State in 2020, Mozee recorded 11 carries for 39 rushing yards and entered the transfer portal at the end of the season. After joining Miami Redhawks in 2021, Mozee recorded 122 carries for 556 yards and four touchdowns his sophomore season. According to ESPN, Mozee recorded 170 carrries for 1,073 yards and four tocuhdowns in his final year at Miami University, as of December 2024.
