Jacques Kallis is one of the best all-rounders in the game's history and he was undoubtedly a popular player in the IPL. Kallis played for RCB and succeeded with both bat and ball for them but couldn't win the league with RCB.

He made a move to KKR ahead of IPL 2011 and it was good news for the KKR fans as the Proteas all-rounder became an integral part of their side. He was impressive in 2011 and scored 424 runs at a good average of 35.33 and picked up 7 wickets.

He performed very well in IPL 2012 as well and scored 409 runs with the bat whilst also picking up 15 wickets and gave a complete all-round performance to secure KKR's first-ever title win. In total, he has scored 1295 runs for KKR and has also picked up 42 wickets for the side. He was very effective during chases and always kept a calm head to take the team past the line.

He didn't want to part with the side and took over the Head Coach baton from Trevor Bayliss and remains in that position. Ever since he took charge, KKR haven't finished below 5th spot and he's certainly the best foreign batsman for the team.
