The tenth edition of the Big Bash League will be underway in Australia from 10 December 2020. The premier T20 competition Down Under will be available to fans on various TV channels and live streaming networks. There will be an array of Big Bash commentators live during the entirety of the tournament.
Channel7 and 7Plus is the official broadcast partner of the upcoming edition of the BBL and they have already released the list of Big Bash commentators 2020 who will take the fans through the match preview, live commentary, mid-innings banter and the post-match chat and presentations.
Mel McLaughlin, who has been a soccer presenter in tournaments and shows like Kick Off, Indian Super League and Fox Sports FC, will be a presenter for Channel7 during BBL 10. She has been involved in BBL operations in the past and will continue to do so in 2020-21.
The commentators are as follows:
The former Australian captain Ricky Ponting is the leading run-getter for Australia in Test and ODI cricket with over 27,000 runs at the highest level of the game. Ponting is the only captain to win two ODI World Cups. He has been in the commentary box for the past few years and will be seen live during this year's BBL fixtures.
Alison Mitchell is an English sports broadcaster and commentator. The 38-year-old has been a part of cricket presentation for Mail on Sunday, The Guardian, Wisden Almanack, The Wisden Cricketer, Test Match Special Blog and The Times. She was the first female commentator for BBCâs Test Match Special as a regular.

Australiaâs current Test captain Tim Paine will also be available for the commentary duties in the BBL when heâs off-duty from the national squad. After an injury-marred career for the national side, Paine has finally found his feet in international cricket a couple of years back when he was announced as the skipper in the longer format despite not being a regular in the side.
Former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum has been a part of the previous editions of the Big Bash League as a player and this year he will be present in the elite commentary box to provide his insights on the game he was so good at. McCullum represented the Brisbane Heat from 2011 to 2019 before hanging his boots.
Another 49-year-old familiar face who will be present in the BBL 10 commentary fox is Greg Blewett, who has played international cricket for Australia from 1995 to 2000. He has scored over 17,000 runs in First-Class cricket and close to 6000 runs in List A format.
Damien Fleming picked over 200 international wickets for Australia in his playing days and then made a career in commentary. He was in the BBL commentary box for the past couple of years as well and will continue to be there for BBL 10.
James Brayshaw tried his hand at professional cricket in the late 1980s and early 1990s but then fell off the radar after not-so-impressive performances for South Australia and Western Australia. He will bring in his inputs during BBL 10 from the commentary box.
