T20, ever since its inception, has long been considered to be a batsman's game, and a graveyard for the bowlers.

You factor in the IPL coupled with flat pitches, big bats, and small grounds, and the proposition of being a bowler seems ominous. But as they say, champions respond to adversity, and there has been a multitude of bowlers in the past ten seasons of the IPL, who with a plethora of skills, temperament and guile at their disposal, have managed to become a cornerstone for their respective franchise.

In this list, let us go down memory lane and revisit bowlers who have picked up more than 100 wickets for a single franchise in the coveted tournament.

Here's the compilation:

#3 Harbhajan Singh (Mumbai Indians)

One of the cornerstones for MI over the years.

One of the few players, to have featured for a single IPL franchise for a period of ten years, it is no surprise that Harbhajan Singh features in this list.

The vile Indian off-spinner with a plethora of skills and most importantly a temperament of handling crunch situations was one of the cornerstones of Mumbai Indians' success over the years.

Before switching allegiance to the Chennai Super Kings this year, Bhajji featured in 136 IPL matches for MI, scalping 127 wickets at an economy of 6.98.

#2 Lasith Malinga (Mumbai Indians)

The slinging fast-bowler, Lasith Malinga is next on this coveted list. The slinging right-arm fast bowler has from Sri Lanka has been one of the greatest exponents of a cricket ball in limited-overs cricket.

From toe-crushing yorkers to slow cutters, Malinga has bamboozled batsmen over the years in the IPL with his sheer consistency and guile. The Sri Lankan fast bowler who is currently the bowling mentor of the Mumbai Indians featured in 110 matches for the franchise and scalped 154 wickets at an average of 19.01 and a barely believable strike-rate of 16.61.

#1 Sunil Narine (Kolkata Knight Riders)

From batting in the powerplay to bowling in the ugly overs, there is virtually nothing that Sunil Narine cannot do on a cricket field for his franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders.

Having made his debut as a mystery spinner in 2012, the Caribbean off-spinner has managed to still remain a mystery for the opposition batsmen, even after remodelling his action a couple of times.

Narine, who has featured in 86 IPL matches for KKR, has accumulated 102 wickets, at an average of 20.72 and an astounding strike-rate of 19.75. The vile spinner, who became only the first overseas spinner to scalp 100 IPL wickets, achieved the feat against the Delhi Daredevils when he dismissed all-rounder Chris Morris on Monday.
