Safety Measures

The Australian government has put forward strict rules regarding the safety measures to be taken for allowing crowds in cricket stadiums. The capacities for each match will vary according to the laws put in place in that particular city.

The Sydney Cricket Ground, Manuka Oval and the Adelaide Oval will hold up to 50% of their capacities. The Boxing Day Test, which will be played at the huge Melbourne Cricket Ground, will accommodate 25% of its capacity, that is a crowd of maximum 25,000 people on each day of the Test. The Gabba in Brisbane has been permitted to have 75% of its capacity filled for the fourth Test of the series.
