Super Sunday – we had two games on 15 May 2016. Kings XI Punjab played Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first game. Kings XI Punjab was upbeat after the win in their previous game. While Sunrisers Hyderabad looked to cement the playoff spot. In the second game, Mumbai Indians played Delhi Daredevils. Mumbai Indians wanted to bounce back after that defeat in the previous game. Delhi Daredevils wanted to keep the momentum going into the playoffs.
Match one – Kings XI Punjab vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to bat first. We are finally seeing a change in the trend.

Ben Cutting, Karan Sharma made the squad instead of Williamson and Sran for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Mustafizur Rahman struck early and removed KXIP captain Murali Vijay for just six runs. Hashim Amla was the standout performer for Kings XI Punjab. He scored 96 runs in just 56 balls. Other batsmen had decent starts but couldn’t keep going.
David Miller played a brilliant cameo in the end to propel KXIP’s score to 179.
Sunrisers Hyderabad started well. SRH notched 68 runs for the first wicket.
Trivia: Three Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen have hit their own stumps in IPL 2016 – Yuvraj Singh, Deepak Hooda, and David Warner.
It was not David Warner. Yuvraj Singh played brilliantly and guided Sunrisers Hyderabad to victory. Sunrisers Hyderabad confirmed their place in the playoffs of IPL 2016 with this win.
Match two – Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Daredevils
Delhi Daredevils won the toss and chose to field first.

Mumbai Indians had a steady start. Then, Krunal Pandya came in and destroyed Delhi Daredevils bowling. He scored 86 runs in just 37 balls. His innings was magnificent. Jos Buttler played a good knock in the final overs to propel MI’s score to 206.
Chasing 206 is never easy. DD lost Mayank Agarwal early. Delhi Daredevils crumbled and lost four wickets in the first ten overs. Mumbai Indians was in total control with the ball as well.
Krunal Pandya had a decent game with the ball too. Bumrah was the stand-out performer for he took three wickets. Overall, it was a comfortable victory for Mumbai Indians.

Virat Kohli leads the run-scorers chart with 667 runs. Murali Vijay stays at number eight. David Warner pushes himself to the second place.
