IPL 2018, RCB vs DD: Twitter reacts to Rishabh Pant's 84 off 48

Delhi started off their innings with dismal performances from the openers, Gautam Gambhir and Jason Roy who got out in third and sixth overs respectively.

Because of some good bowling and bad performance from the openers, Delhi scored just 38 runs in eight overs.

But then two youngsters Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant started to build a partnership and they both together put on 75 runs together before the half-centurion Iyer departed in the 14th over.

With the dismissal of Iyer, the responsibility fell on the shoulders of Pant. Pant rose to expectations and scored 85 off 48 balls with the help of six fours and seven sixes and took DD to a competitive total of 174.
