IPL 2019 : 3 overseas players to watch out for
Indian Premier League is the world’s most popular and richest cricket league and is known for offering a great platform to players from all around the world to showcase their talent.
Over the years, foreign players have been an integral part of the IPL. This time, IPL will take place just before the World Cup 2019, so many overseas players will not be available for the whole season of IPL 2019. So the players who might not be the part of their nation's World Cup squad, will play a major role for their IPL franchises this season as they will be available for the whole season.
So here we take a look at three overseas players to watch out for in IPL 2019 :
#3 Liam Livingstone
Many wouldn't know Liam Livingstone but he is a well-known name in England's domestic circuit. He has already made two appearances for England in T20Is against the Proteas.
The 25-year-old is a very talented all-rounder. Livingstone is a destructive right-hand batsmen and bowls right-arm leg-spin. He first came into limelight when he scored 350 off just 138 balls for his club side Nantwich in a 50-over game at a very young age of 21.
So far, Livingstone has played 51 T20 matches and has scored 1110 runs from them. He has also a T20 hundred to his name. He has picked 14 wickets at an unbelievable average of 16.78 from 14 innings in which he has bowled.
In IPL 2019 auction, Livingstone was bought by Rajasthan Royals at his base price of INR 50 lakh. Being a destructive batsman and a decent leg-spinner, he could be a bargain buy for Royals this season.
So It will be very interesting to watch him in the upcoming season of IPL.
