Sachin Tendulkar has won the orange cap in the 2010 IPL season.

The Master Blaster made his IPL debut against Chennai Super Kings in 2008. He is an integral part of Mumbai Indians since the inaugural edition of the IPL. Sachin is the current mentor of the Mumbai franchise. He was the recipient of the Orange cap in 2010 scoring 618 runs. His last IPL performance came against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2013. Sachin was instrumental in Mumbai's success in the initial seasons. Mumbai Indians picked him as an icon player ahead of 2008 auction. He along with Sanath Jayasuriya opened the innings for the Mumbai franchise in the 2008 season. He is the first player to score a double century in ODIs. Sachin is also the first player to score 100 centuries in all forms of the game. Master Blaster has scored nearly 34000 international runs. Sachin has only played a single T20 international and has managed to score just 100 runs.
