Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is by far the most successful wicketkeeper in the history of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The inaugural World Cup-winning captain represented his country in six editions of the showpiece event and bagged 32 dismissals (21 catches and 11 stumpings), which includes his famous run-out on the final delivery of the match against Bangladesh in 2016.
Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal is at the second spot. The former swashbuckling batter affected 30 dismissals in as many innings, which included 12 catches and 18 stumpings.
Former West Indies keeper Denesh Ramdin is at the third spot, with 18 catches and nine stumpings against his name in 29 innings.
Legendary Lankan wicketkeeper is at the fourth spot with 26 dismissals against his name. The top five list is bookmarked by Proteas stumper Quinton de Kock and veteran Bangladeshi stumper Mushfiqur Rahim. While Kock has affected 22 dismissals (12 catches 14 stumpings) in 31 innings, Rahim bagged 19 (10 catches + 9 stumpings) in 24.
