E3 is short for Electronic Entertainment Expo or Electronic Entertainment Experience. It is a trade event for the video game industry. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) organizes and presents E3, which many developers, publishers, hardware and accessory manufacturers use to introduce and advertise upcoming games and game-related merchandise to retailers and to members of the press.

E3 or Electronic Entertainment Expo is an annual video game event, garnering immense support and coverage from across the world. Ever since its initiation in 1995, E3 has become the most anticipated expo of the year. Millions of fans are waiting in anticipation of new game announcements, riveting trailers and updates, as well as hands-on experiences of upcoming titles.In January 2022, the ESA announced that E3 2022 had been cancelled due to COVID-19; the ESA has yet to make any announcement regarding a virtual event.
