Exoprimal was announced as a Capcom creation, and many were unhappy to see that it was a multiplayer-only game. Nevertheless, the gameplay trailers changed their minds about this game, as it appeared to be Monster Hunter on crack! Exoprimal is a third-person shooter built within the RE Engine that immerses you in a chaotic player-versus-player-versus-environment arena.

What is Exoprimal about?

The player controls an Exofighter on a mystery island taken over by a dangerous artificial intelligence monster known as Leviathan. The purpose is to overcome the obstacles and destroy AI. The AI's mandate is to "upgrade our exosuits," but like most nasty AIs, it carried that to the extreme and put us into a messed-up battle arena where we fight dinosaurs and each other.

Exoprimal Gameplay

In the primary game mode, Dino Survival, two teams of five players compete to achieve the Leviathan-set objectives. We've previously seen triceratops, a tyrannosaurus rex, and raptors. We'll also witness NeoSaurs or mutant dinosaurs. Some challenges involve killing a particular number of dinosaurs, protecting a VTOL, and charging up and delivering an unusual hammer to a target. In terms of gameplay, you can choose between exosuits, each with its own weapons and abilities. If you wish to play a tank, choose Roadblock with a shield. The Witchdoctor is a healer support character, while Barrage specializes in damage with explosives.
