Playing XI Updates

Kings XI Punjab

No changes are expected from the Punjab side that outplayed the Mumbai Indians on Saturday with the likes of KL Rahul and Mohammed Shami returning to their best in terms of runs and wickets respectively. Hardus Viljoen has shown enough promise as the third seamer alongside AJ Tye and Mohammed Shami.

Murugan Ashwin had a great outing against Mumbai and will be expected to hold his own against another in-form south-paw, Rishabh Pant.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions

Wicket-keeper: Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul already have a fifty to their names this season but it should be the Delhi keeper who should be picked considering his destructive ability towards the end of the innings.

Batsmen: Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal are decent options from the Punjab side while Shreyas Iyer could be backed on what should be a good surface to bat on. One of Shikar Dhawan or Colin Ingram would also suffice considering their ability to accelerate at will

All-rounders: Chris Morris and Ravi Ashwin are the preferred all-rounders with their international expertise on offer. Morris is capable of dealing with a few mighty blows as well in the death overs, making him a must-have in the side.

Bowlers: Mohammad Shami and Hardus Viljoen are the ideal players to have in the side while Kagiso Rabada's ability to nail the yorkers could be pivotal to Delhi cause. If included in the playing XI, Harshal Patel could be more than just handy with his canny variations on show.
