Justin Rose, an English professional golfer, competes on the PGA Tour as of April 2025. Rose turned professional in 1998, first joining the European Tour in 1999, then the PGA Tour in 2004. His first professional win came at the 2002 Dunhill Championship on the European Tour, which was also co-sanctioned by the Sunshine Tour. His first PGA win came in 2010 at the Memorial Tournament, defeating Rickie Fowler.

Rose was ranked No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) in September 2018 and went on to win the FedEx Cup that same season. As of April 2025, he has 25 professional wins and a world ranking of No. 39, as per OWGR. His most notable wins include two WGC titles in 2012 and 2017, as well as the 2013 US Open. Rose received the Member of the Order of the British Empire in 2017 and the Payne Stewart Award in 2021.

Rose won the 2013 U.S. Open, his only major win, and became the first Englishman to win the event since 1970 at the time. At the event, trailing Phil Mickelson by two strokes at the start, Rose made key birdies on the 6th, 7th, 12th, and 13th holes to take the lead. Making bogeys on the 14th and 16th, he held steady as Mickelson faltered with bogeys of his own. Rose secured par on the 18th, and Mickelson failed to birdie the final hole. Thus, Rose won by two shots over Mickelson and Jason Day.

Justin Rose's The Open Championship wins

Rose has not won the Open Championship as of April 2025. However, similar to the Masters, he has two runner-up finishes in 2018 and 2024. In 2018, he tied with Kevin Kisner, Rory McIlroy, and Xander Schauffele, losing to Francesco Molinari by two strokes. In 2024, Schauffele defeated him and Billy Horschel by two strokes.
