Oakland Raiders v Buffalo Bills

The Oakland Raiders were coming off an emotional win last week against the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills wanted to continue playing hard football. As it turned out, Buffalo played strong from the second quarter until the end of the game in a 34-14 victory against the Raiders.

Jamize Olawale scored on a 1-yard rush in the first quarter for the Raiders. In the second quarter, Andre Holmes caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Tyrod Taylor. Holmes finished with three receptions for 51 yards receiving and a touchdown. Taylor completed 20-of-27 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown.

Matt Milano recovered a fumble for the Bills later in the second and he returned it 40 yards for a touchdown. In the third quarter, Steven Hauschka made two field goals from 35 and 44 yards out. In the fourth quarter, Tyrod Taylor scored on a 1-yard rush on a fourth down play.

Later in the fourth, Derek Carr threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Washington. Carr completed 31-of-49 passes for 313 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. Washington caught eight passes for 62 yards receiving and a touchdown. He also rushed for 26 yards on six carries.

Washington played in place of Marshawn Lynch because Lynch was suspended for running onto the field last week and making contact with an official. Michael Crabtree led the Raiders in receiving with six receptions for 83 yards.

LeSean McCoy put the icing on the cake with a 48-yard touchdown run with 3:21 remaining. McCoy finished with 151 yards on 27 carries and a touchdown. He also caught six passes for 22 yards receiving.

The Oakland Raiders will travel to Miami to face the Dolphins (4-3) next Sunday Night and the Buffalo Bills will be on the road against the New York Jets (3-5) this Thursday Night.
