Last chance to collect free items in GTA Online update (December 31, 2024-January 2, 2025)

The first GTA Online update of 2025 is just around the corner. This means all the ongoing boosted payouts and rewards will be replaced with newer ones upon its release. While Rockstar keeps shuffling such in-game bonuses with weekly updates, players won’t be able to get some things again for free for quite some time – the holiday gifts.

Till 2 am PST on January 2, 2025, players can collect a couple of festive-themed items for free, including a weapon and some apparel items. Here's how you can claim these freebies in the current GTA Online update.

As part of the ongoing GTA Online weekly update, here are some free items that players can currently collect:

Gold Star Fitted Jacket
Gold Reindeer Pendant
Gold Star Fitted Pants

20 Rockets and Firework Launcher
Full Snacks
Full Armor
Full Ammo

To claim these, all players have to do is simply log in to the popular multiplayer title any time before 2 am PST, January 2, 2025. Apart from that, the ongoing Happy Holidays Hauler event is currently giving free items to players in the free roam, including:

Sprunk Festive Sweater

Like other limited-time events, the Happy Holidays Hauler will end in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto Online update.

The Gooch
