When Was Joe Rogan’s First Podcast?

Joseph James Rogan is a sports analyst for UFC, a podcaster, a comedian, an actor, and a former TV host. He is the host of the podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, where he talks with a wide range of people about current events, comedy, politics, philosophy, science, and hobbies.

Rogan was born in Newark, New Jersey. He started doing stand-up comedy in the Boston area in the late Eighty’s. After moving to Los Angeles, he got an exclusive development deal with Disney and started acting on TV shows like Hardball and News Radio. In 1997, he became an interviewer and color expert for the UFC. I'm Gonna Be Dead Someday, his first comedy special, came out in 2000. From the early 2000 to 2006, he was the host of the game show known as Fear Factor.

No one, not even Joe Rogan, knew that his show would become the biggest thing in the world of podcasts. During the first show, he and co-host Brian Redban didn't even call it a podcast; they called it a "live stream."

During the first thirty minutes of the podcast, Joe turned on a video setting that showed snowflakes falling on the video stream. He thought it was cool, especially since it was the night before Christmas. But the viewers did not like the idea and started tweeting it. Later on, Joe turned off the setting from his video.
