In Dune Awakening, you get to choose how to shape your character. Depending on your role, you can select Passives, Techniques, and Abilities that adhere to your playstyle. Of course, you'll have to visit class trainers to get ahead of the curve, but that's not an immediate concern.

But coming back to a build for general gameplay, you'll want something well-rounded. Something that can pack a punch both in ranged and melee combat. A character build that will allow you to dish out damage, while also providing solid defence and deterring would-be attackers.

There are several ways to build your character, but this selection of Passives, Techniques, and Abilities will give you a solid approach to combat and ensure you can survive on Arrakis with ease.

That is the complete build for general gameplay. After you've invested all these points, you could invest some in the Planetologist skill tree, but it's optional. While resources do play a huge role, you won't be missing out on them. And your gear being more durable, you'll need fewer resources to build and repair either way. With combat being your strong suit, you can easily scavenge what you need through PvE and PvP.
