The April 21 Palworld update has been issued for Steam with the Xbox version following suit. The patch notes reveal balance adjustments, optimizations, and bug fixes. The game's early access and the latest Bellanoir update mean there's plenty to fix in-game, and these regular patch updates aim to do so to provide a positive player experience.

The latest Palworld patch's major change is the 1.5x hatching speed increase for electric egg incubators in-game. Additionally, for some players, the option to pet pals that were previously inaccessible will be an equally important bug fix.

The Palworld update today (April 21) has the following patch notes:

Balance Adjustment

  • The electric egg incubator now has increased hatching speed. Hatches at 1.5 times the normal rate

Optimization

  • Optimized the processing load on dedicated servers

Bug Fixes

  • You can now pet some pals that could not be pet due to a bug that prevented the "pet" option from working correctly
  • Fixed an issue where base pals would sometimes collide with each other on dedicated servers
  • [Xbox version only] Fixed an issue where the "Option to show/hide Journey" and "Option to change the scale of damage text numbers" were not working
  • Fixed other minor bugs
