Sootseer in Palworld is a brand-new Pal added to the game in the Sakurajima update. It is a dual Fire- and Dark-type Pal and is #118 in the Paldeck. Given its typing, Sootseer is weak to Water- and Dragon-type Pals like Jormuntide, Blazamut Ryu, Jetragon, Quivern, Suzaku Aqua, Azurobe, and others.

Where to find Sootseer in Palworld?

Sootseer can be really hard to find. This is a nocturnal Pal and it only spawns in a small area on Sakurajima Island. The area is marked in blue in the picture above. You can also come across Sootseer as an Alpha Boss Pal in the Cherry Blossom Cave on Sakurajima Island.

How to catch Sootseer in Palworld

As mentioned previously, Sootseer is weak to Water- and Dragon-type Pals. So, you should use monsters of this elemental typing or those with access to strong Water- and Dragon-type attacks.

You can use the following Pals to lower Sootseer's HP before trying to catch it:

Sootseer is good at five things when it comes to base-related work: it has level 3 Kindling, level 2 Handiwork, level 1 Gathering, level 2 Mining, and level 1 Farming. It is decent at a few things that it does. So, Sootseer is a great Pal to have as a worker at your base.

How to breed Sootseer in Palworld

You can use two Sootseer of opposite genders to breed this Pal in the game. As of this writing, no other Pals are known to give an egg that produces a Lullu hatchling.
