The 2023 NFL Draft is nearly upon us, and hundreds of the best collegiate players across the country are getting ready to have their lives changed forever.

Across three days, 259 players will be selected, and while that may seem like a lot, just as many players will go undrafted.

These players may be low on morale after not being drafted, but there are more undrafted players in the Pro Football Hall of Fame than first-overall picks.

This shows that, as plenty of talent slips through the net, many of them could be studs in the NFL.

#5 - Clayton Tune

Houston Cougars quarterback Clayton Tune has declared for the NFL Draft, but there's a chance he won't get drafted at all.

Tune is a senior, which may put some teams off, but he passed for 40 touchdowns against just 10 interceptions in his final college campaign. He ended 2022 with a 158.9 QBR, the highest of his career, meaning he could be peaking at just the right time.

#4 - Mohamed Ibrahim

Minnesota running back Mohamed Ibrahim is another potential undrafted candidate, despite racking up 20 touchdowns in 2022.

Ibrahim also amassed 1,665 yards in his senior year, which ranked third in the NCAAF.

The running back position in the NFL is becoming less and less valuable, and more backs can be found in the later rounds of the draft, so Ibrahim could find his way just fine.

#3 - Truman Jones

Harvard defensive lineman Truman Jones may well make it to the NFL, despite the possibility of going undrafted.

Jones clocked up a solid 5.5 sacks in his only full season starting at Harvard, as well as amassing 39 total tackles.

Jones' being an Ivy League grad may appeal to NFL teams, too, as any Harvard alumni must be motivated to both learn and play!

#2 - Derius Davis

TCU wideout Derius Davis was projected to go undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft before his outstanding 4.36 40 at the NFL Combine.

Davis only had 531 yards in 2022, but there's a chance an NFL team will take a punt on him in the latter rounds of the draft.

Failing that, a team may have hit the jackpot, grabbing a legitimate deep-threat as an UDFA.

#1 - Stetson Bennett

No one is quite sure where Georgia Bulldogs QB Stetson Bennett will be drafted. Some have him as high as round three, while others see him going undrafted.

Wherever he ends up, however, Bennett is sure to bring his winning mentality to the locker room.

Bennett led the Bulldogs to two National Championships as the signal-caller for the team, passing for over 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2022.

Some NFL teams will be put off by the fact Bennett is already older than current starters like Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts, which may hurt his draft stock.
