The 2023 NFL draft is months away, and this year's wide receiver class, headlined by TCU wideout Quentin Johnston, is considered the weakest in years.
While there isn't that much top talent in the position, there are still some very good players in the position and some that will be drafted in the first round.
Johnston is among those first-round talents and could be a top-10 pick in this year's draft.

In his first two seasons in college, he recorded 55 receptions for just over 1,000 yards and eight total touchdowns.
He had a breakout season this past year. In 14 games this past season, he caught 60 passes for 1,069 yards and six touchdowns. He averaged 19 yards per catch in his career and is a legit deep-threat wideout.
He has all the measureables of an NFL wide receiver at 6'4" inches, 215 lbs. with 4.4 forty speed.
He declared for the draft via Instagram and is expected to be the first WR taken.

Who are some of the other top wide receiver prospects in the 2023 NFL draft?
While this receiver class isn't loaded with the most talent, it will produce some first-rounders and guys who will make an impact as rookies.
USC's Jordan Addison is one of the top receiver prospects and was the 2021 Biletnikoff Award winner, recording 1,593 yards on 100 catches with 17 scores as a junior.
Ohio State's Jaxon Smith-Njigba is an interesting prospect. He played in seven games as a freshman, recording 10 catches for 49 yards. As a sophomore in 2021, he caught 95 passes for 1,606 yards and nine touchdowns. He sat out this season due to a hamstring injury.
North Carolina's Josh Downs is another top prospect. As a shifty, quick receiver, Downs could find himself drafted late in the first round to a receiver-needy team.
In 11 games this season, he has recorded a 74.8% catch rate in his career with 94 catches for 1,029 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Other receivers such as Zay Flowers, Rome Odunze, and Jalin Hyatt could also be first-rounders, but we'll get a better idea and projection after the NFL combine.
