Coming off their second playoff appearance of the decade (and just their third since reactivation), the Cleveland Browns entered the 2024 season with massive expectations. Deshaun Watson was returning from a shoulder injury, and his already monstrous receiving corps of Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore and David Njoku had received another piece in Jerry Jeudy, who then got an extension.
But instead of continued success, there has instead been unmitigated failure. Watson played poorly before tearing his Achilles, while Cooper was shipped off to Orchard Park a few kilometers in the northeast as the Browns sank to their current 2-7 record.

If he can change one moment in NFL history, it will be from the NFC Championship Game in January 2019. In that game, a highly controversial no-call cost the Saints what would have been Drew Brees' second Super Bowl visit, where he would have faced Tom Brady and the Patriots.
