Aaron Rodgers is a gift that keeps on giving

#3 - COVID Toe

Aaron Rodgers really lost a lot of respect during the whole COVID kerfuffle after he was unavailable for a match due to him being unvaccinated. He claimed he had not been lying about getting vaccinated.

He further went on to claim that the mRNA vaccines are unsuitable for him, but then even dismissed the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which is based on a different technology. Aaron Rodgers also claimed, with a straight face, that his struggles against vaccine protocols were similar to that faced by Martin Luther King Jr.

But all of that led to one of the best TV moments ever after he claimed he had COVID toe. It is an actual condition that involves rashes and other symptoms developing on the toes due to COVID.

But what Aaron Rodgers was referring to was fracturing his toe while working out during his isolation. To clear up the confusion in his next press conference, he held up his toe to show he was not suffering from COVID toe symptoms; rather it was fractured.

Aaron Rodgers gave us a TV moment that we had to witness to believe.

#4 - "I still own you"

In one of the most iconic moments of Aaron Rodgers' career, he led the Packers to a win against the Chicago Bears, their eternal rivals. Over the course of that game, Aaron Rodgers scored a rushing touchdown.

When he got up to celebrate, in his own words, he saw a Bears fan gesturing rudely towards him. It caused him to declare that he owns the Chicago Bears.

He proceeded to claim,

"I have owned you all my f**king life. I have owned you. I still own you. I still own you"

#5 - Return against the Seattle Seahawks

The game against the Kansas City Chiefs showed the world and Packers fans just how important Aaron Rodgers still is to the franchise. He was replaced by backup quarterback Jordan Love.

The relieving quarterback could not do much as the Packers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hence, there was a warm feeling for Aaron Rodgers when he returned for the next game against the Seattle Seahawks. The Packers won the game in a shutout and Aaron Rodgers did not play particularly well.

But he brought a calm authority and assurance to the offense that had been lacking the previous week.

The Packers faithful could not hide their appreciation for Aaron Rodgers after the victory. After all the storm Aaron Rodgers had had to endure the previous week (much of which was self-inflicted), it was a welcome respite for him to feel the love of the fans again.

To see him being cheered on by Packers fans was genuinely heartwarming and reminded fans that when all was said and done, Aaron Rodgers was still a great quarterback.
