Allen Robinson II - 1 year, $17.9 million (Franchise Tag, $17.9 million guaranteed)

Chicago made an excellent decision when they franchise tagged veteran NFL wideout Allen Robinson II. The Bears wideout is coming off back-to-back seasons with over 1,000 yards receiving. Allen Robinson II was set to be the top wideout in the 2021 free agency group.

Desmond Trufant - 1 year, $1.075 million

Trufant has spent the last eight seasons of his NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions. The Bears needed to replace Kyle Fuller, who was released to free up salary cap space. Desmond Trufant is a veteran who has registered 14 interceptions over the last eight seasons.

Damiere Byrd - 1 year, $1.1 million ($387,500 guaranteed)

Chicago could have done a lot worse than sign former New England Patriots wideout Damiere Byrd. He's coming off his best NFL season with the Patriots. Byrd caught 47 passes for 604 yards and a touchdown.

Justin Fields - 4 years, $18.8 million ($18.8 million guaranteed)

The Chicago Bears traded up during the 2021 NFL Draft to select former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields. Chicago needed to find a franchise quarterback to lead their franchise into the future, and Fields is coming off a successful couple of years as the Buckeyes' starter, where he led them to the College Football Playoffs in consecutive seasons.

Mario Edwards - 3 years, $11.6 million ($5.5 million guaranteed)

Edwards earned his contract during the 2020 NFL season, putting together a 2020 season with four sacks and 17 total tackles. Chicago is hoping that Edwards continues to improve.

Detroit Lions

Alex Anzalone - 1 year, $1.7 million ($1.5 million guaranteed)

Anzalone has spent his last four NFL seasons with the New Orleans Saints. Detroit signed Alex Anzalone at a reasonable price based off his production. Anzalone registered 123 total tackles, four sacks and one interception with the Saints.

Breshad Perriman - 1 year, $2.5 million ($2 million guaranteed)

Detroit lost both their top wide receivers during the 2021 NFL off-season. Breshad Perriman, meanwhile, is coming off a 2020 NFL season with the New York Jets. He will now be the number two wide receiver for the Lions in 2021.

Tyrell Williams - 1 year, $4 million ($4 million guaranteed)

Detroit could hit the lottery with Tyrell Williams as long as he stays healthy. When healthy, Williams is an excellent option for Jared Goff. In the three seasons that he played an entire year, Tyrell Williams recorded 2,440 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns.

Penei Sewell - 4 years, $24.099 million ($24.099 million guaranteed)

Detroit opted to select one of the top wide receivers in the draft for the top offensive tackle. Penei Sewell is a generational talent at offensive tackle. The Lions knew that if Jared Goff was going to be successful, he would need time to throw the ball. Sewell solves that issue from the word go.

Frank Ragnow - 4 years, $54 million ($42 million guaranteed)

Detroit is heading into the 2021 season with one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. Re-signing Frank Ragnow was the beginning, and adding Penei Sewell made it even better. The Lions are making sure that Jared Goff has plenty of time to throw the ball.

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Jones - 4 years, $48 million ($13 million guaranteed)

The Green Bay Packers couldn't let Aaron Jones hit free agency in 2021. Jones is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons. The Packers needed to bring back their third-best option on offense behind Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams.

Blake Bortles - 1 year, $1.075 million

The Packers made the Blake Bortles signing primarily because of the Aaron Rodgers situation. Bortles isn't a bad quarterback and has the goods to start over the Packers' young quarterback, Jordan Love. Let's not forget, Blake Bortles helped the Jaguars make it to the AFC Championship.

Marcedes Lewis - 2 years, $5.9 million ($3.2 million guaranteed)

The Green Bay Packers decided to bring back their veteran tight end, Marcedes Lewis, this NFL off-season. Lewis may not have eye-popping numbers, but he has decent production; he caught three touchdown passes during the 2020 season.

Robert Tonyan Jr. - 1 year, $3.3 million ($2.3 million guaranteed)

Tonyan is coming off his best season with the Green Bay Packers. The Packers decided to re-sign Tonyan owing to his 586 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns last year. If he replicates those numbers, he could be looking at a big payday in 2022.

Jaire Alexander - 4 years, $12 million ($12 million guaranteed)

The Green Bay Packers decided to pick up the fifth-year option on Jaire Alexander's four-year deal. Alexander has been their top cornerback. The Packers need him to have a shot at success defending the pass in 2021.

Minnesota Vikings

Sheldon Richardson - 1 year, $3.6 million ($3 million guaranteed)

Sheldon Richardson was the best defensive lineman available, plain and simple. Minnesota needed help on their front seven and Richardson fills that void. The Vikings have made a massive upgrade by signing Sheldon Richardson.

Xavier Woods - 1 year, $1.75 million ($1.5 million guaranteed)

Xavier Woods comes to Minnesota after spending four years with the Dallas Cowboys. Over the past four NFL seasons, Xavier Woods has been a solid contributor in the Cowboys defense. Woods has registered five interceptions and 247 total tackles from his safety position.

Patrick Peterson - 1 year, $8 million ($8 million guaranteed)
