The 2023 NFL draft is April 27-29, and fans are in anticipation of the event after the league's combine.

Some of the league's future stars strutted their stuff in Indianapolis, with general managers and scouts in attendance to get a closer look at the prospects.

Many teams need to rebuild via the draft after having terrible 2021 seasons or perhaps having been decimated by age or injuries.

Five teams looking to rebuild through 2023 NFL draft

#5, Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals will definitely be looking to rebuild in the NFL draft.

So far in the offseason, both A.J. Green and J.J. Watt have retired, and the team is rumored to be looking to trade All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Arizona picks at No. 3, but may look to trade back in return for extra picks as quarterback-hungry teams look to trade up.

Kyler Murray is also likely to miss significant time in 2023 after his ACL injury, so they may even draft a signal-caller.

#4, Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have enough draft capital to continue to rebuild their team in the draft.

Houston holds the 2nd and 12th picks, which should land them two elite talents.

With their second pick, they look likely to land a QB to replace Davis Mills, be it Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud.

#3, Tennesee Titans

The Tennessee Titans fell off a cliff in 2022, missing the playoffs altogether after being the AFC's No. 1 seed the year before.

The team has already cut linebacker Bud Dupree and is being rumored to be shopping running back Derrick Henry.

Ryan Tannehill and Malik Willis don't look like the answer at QB either, so they have many holes to fill in their roster.

#2, Indianapolis Colts

The Titans' AFC South rival, the Indianapolis Colts, will also be looking to rebuild through the draft.

Indy looks likely to move on from Matt Ryan after just one season under center. Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud look likely to take over the helm, but the Colts have other gaps to fill.

After having one of the best offensive lines in football for years, the Colts' run game was terrible in 2021, so they'll look to snag a top-tier offensive lineman or two.

#1, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have many holes to fill throughout the NFL draft despite making the playoffs.

Tom Brady has retired, Lavonte David is an impending free agent, and linebacker Devin White has been sending out cryptic messages that could mean he's also on the move.

These players were vital to Tampa Bay's Super Bowl win in 2020, and all will need replacing. Also, receiver Mike Evans will be 30 by the time the season starts and won't be around forever.

All of this culminates in a difficult period for GM Jason Licht as he looks for draft prospects to rebuild his team.
