The Los Angeles Rams have struggled to live up to the high expectations that came with winning the Super Bowl last season. Sean McVay's side are currently fourth in the NFC West with a 4-9 record after Week 14 and struggling to make the playoffs.

Although the Rams can still officially qualify for the playoffs, they have a very slim chance of making the postseason. As per reports from the New York Times, the Los Angeles-based outfit has less than a 1% chance of reaching the playoffs.

This means that they will have to rely on unrealistic probabilities to make the postseason, while winning all their remaining regular-season games as well.

The reigning Super Bowl champions stumbled with their offensive output at the start of the season. Quarterback Matthew Stafford didn't have the best of campaigns as well before his injury setback at the start of December.

The good news for LA is that newly-acquired quarterback Baker Mayfield seems to have blended in well with the franchise. The 27-year-old helped the Rams to a comeback win against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 14, less than two days after joining the team.

In Week 15, the Los Angeles Rams will square off against Aaron Rodgers' Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. They then host the Denver Broncos in what promises to be an entertaining Christmas Day fixture.

Sean McVay's team will play their penultimate game of the season against local rivals the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16. Their final game of the regular season will be played against the Seattle Seahawks.

While Matthew Stafford remains on the injured reserve list, Baker Mayfield is expected to start for the Rams in their final four games of the regular season. Mayfield arrived from the Carolina Panthers earlier last week and threw for 230 yards and one touchdown on his Rams debut.
