Audric Estime 2024 NFL Draft Projection: 3 best landing spots for Notre Dame RB

NFL Combine
Which teams should pursue Audric Estime?

Audric Estime spent his freshman season at Notre Dame backing up future Pro Bowler Kyren Williams, and then built from there.

By 2022, despite starting only two games, he had almost 1,000 rushing yards and double-digit rushing touchdowns. That paved the way for 2023, when he exploded for over 1,000 and almost 20.

He was tremendously helped by his offensive line, which featured star tackle Joe Alt among others; but on his own, he can be potent. So which teams should want him?

Audric Estime draft profile

It has already been mentioned before, but Audric Estime loves exploiting defensive holes.

Whenever a route presents itself, he will not hesitate to take it, even if it eventually becomes crowded. That is where he reveals his strength and explosivity to break tackles and gain yards.

The man clearly possesses RB1 potential, and may be treated as such.

Below are the three best landing spots for Notre Dame RB Audric Estime.

3) Cincinnati Bengals

Are the Cincinnati Bengals about to have themselves a devastating offensive exodus?

Tyler Boyd is now a free agent. Tee Higgins is still sitting on the franchise tag, and then there is Joe Mixon, who has been shockingly traded to the Houston Texans.

Zack Moss is serviceable; however, he has never hit 1,000 yards in his career and is clearly a mere second option. There has to be an upgrade from him, and Estime could be that.

2) Las Vegas Raiders

Quick, who are the Las Vegas Raiders' new rushers? Exactly.

Alexander Mattison and Zamir White are just two members of one of the weakest running back rooms in the league. Even Josh Jacobs in his worst season so far, performed significantly better than either of them, and he is off to Green Bay.

Here is hoping that Tom Telesco is able to make an Audric Estime-shaped and sized move, because the Raiders badly need a rusher.

1) Dallas Cowboys

It cannot be stressed enough: The Dallas Cowboys desperately need a running back.

While it is somewhat of an exaggeration to say that going from two-time Pro Bowler Tony Pollard to a hodgepoge of unknowns is embarrassing, the notion is still there. Deuce Vaughn? Rico Dowdle? Recently-signed Royce Freeman? They are nothing more than depth guys.

What they need is a dominator, and Estime can be exactly that.
