The Carolina Panthers snapped their two-game losing streak to beat the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10. They improved their record to 3-7, meaning Baker Mayfield and company still have a narrow opportunity to make it to the playoffs.

It will take a monumental effort, a perfect finish and several rivals suffering a string of defeats, but there is still a chance. Until they are mathematically eliminated, Carolina will continue to fight.

According to FiveThirtyEight, they have a 5% chance of playing in the postseason. This shows how slim the margin for error is for Carolina, which is why many are already writing them off.

Things can change very quickly in the NFL, though, and even the seemingly impossible can happen. The franchise will doubtless take it one game at a time and see where it gets them.
