Take a trip down memory lane and remember the time that Tom Brady hosted SNL after winning his third Lombardi Trophy.

Tom Brady is now 45 years old and a seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback. But while he was still in his early years playing in the NFL, he made his first and only appearance as host of "Saturday Night Live."

After the New England Patriots defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 24-21 in Super Bowl XXXIX, giving Brady three Super Bowl rings, he was invited to 30 Rock to host the iconic late night show.

In one segment, the quarterback pretended that he owned a Middle Eastern restaurant. Saying that selling high quality food at affordable prices was more rewarding than winning three Super Bowls. After showing the lamb kabobs at his restaurant and telling everyone to come down to "Tom Brady's Falafel City," he was joined on stage by SNL cast members, and they danced.

"I'm Tom Brady, and ever since I was a kid, I've had one dream and one dream only: to open up a restaruant selling high quality Middle Eastern cuisine at discount prices," Brady said on the skit. "Sure, winning all of those Super Bowls was fine, but take it from me, nothing compares to serving up a lamb kabob platter with all of the fixings for just $4.59.
"MMmm, what do you have to lose? Come on down to Tom Brady's Falafel City."

After Brady's SNL hosting duties, Patriots coach Bill Belichick said that he wasn't aware that his quarterback could sing and dance. Belichick said Brady must have been coached well, but that type of coaching didn't come from him.

Would QB Tom Brady ever host SNL again?

Athletes, comedians, actors, actresses and people from all types of industries have tried their hand at hosting "Saturday Night Live." Last month on his "Let's Go" podcast, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady spoke with Kenan Thompson, a longtime SNL cast member. Thompson spoke to the quarterback about his 2005 hosting gig.

The Bucs quarterback said that Peyton Manning hosted after he did and he thought that the Hall of Famer did better than him. He said that he needed redemption and has to get his "last licks in," and essentially attempting to do better than Peyton Manning did.

"Peyton, I think went on after me. And he actually did better than me. So, at some point, I have to go in and try to redeem myself, you know, I got to get my last licks, 'Cause Peyton was great."

Thompson agreed that Peyton Manning did a great job hosting in 2007. Manning also made a special appearance earlier in 2022. His confession about loving "Emily in Paris" became an instant hit.

So, maybe NFL fans can look forward to seeing the accomplished quarterback take his talents back to New York City and try hosting SNL again.
