Devon Achane has enjoyed three productive seasons with the Texas A&M Aggies. The running back is now hoping to hear his name called out in the 2023 NFL draft.

Many NFL teams will look into this year's draft for a running back. It is reported that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Denver Broncos will be monitoring Achane closely.

The Aggies star is elusive and has and has an excellent burst of speed. Achane is one of the few who can also sustain his top speed for an extended run.

Many analysts believe that Achane will be selected in the second round of the draft. The likes of Jahmyr Gibbs, Zach Charbonnet and Bijan Robinson are the only three running backs expected to go ahead of him.

The Texas star posted the two fastest 40 times among running backs at the NFL combine. He completed his first attempt in 4.34 seconds and his second in 4.32 seconds. Achane is also tough and has the vision to find narrow holes in the opposition's defenses. Additionally, he can operate as a receiver.

One of the few drawbacks regarding Achane is his size. Some teams may be unwilling to pick him due to his 5-foot-9-inch, 188-pound stature.
