Week 2 has been a pretty wild ride, fantasy football-wise. Cooper Kupp limped out injured, Justin Jefferson picked up an injury, A.J. Brown's out with a hamstring injury and Isiah Pacheco left in a walking boot after the win over the Bengals. Week 2's Atlanta Falcons vs Philadelphia Eagles game will cap off a pretty bizarre set of results, but before you make your Start 'Em Sit 'Em picks for tonight, here's a look at a DeVonta Smith vs Drake London projection for Monday Night Football.
DeVonta Smith fantasy projection for Week 2 MNF
A.J. Brown's injury will be a major concern for the Philadelphia Eagles but DeVonta Smith is arguably the best WR2 in the NFL. In fact, Smith looked more like a WR1 last Friday when the Eagles went up against the Green Bay Packers. Smith had seven receptions for 84 yards in Week 1, and with Brown officially ruled out, expect Smith to take on the role of chief playmaker against the Falcons.

Smith has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in his last two seasons so you know you can depend on him if you're lagging behind in your leagues. There is the fact that A.J. Terrell could shadow him all night but George Pickens navigated that challenge pretty well in Week 1 so there's little reason why Smith can't emulate that feat.
Drake London fantasy projection
This is where things get tricky. Drake London's clearly WR1 on the Falcons' depth chart but they didn't exactly impress in their season opener against the Russell Wilson-less Steelers. Granted, the Steelers defense is a lockdown unit but the Falcons didn't showcase much on offense to prove that their lack of production was solely down to the Steelers' suffocating defense.
In Week 1, London caught just two passes on three targets for 15 yards. Those numbers speak volumes. Kirk Cousins also didn't look the most comfortable in the pocket in the face of Pittsburgh's pass rush. It was Cousins' first full back since his ACL injury but he didn't move around too freely to prove that the injury is history.
The Falcons will likely get better as the season goes on, and if it was any other matchup in Week 2, you'd pick Drake London to have a bounceback week. But the Eagles are aggressive on defense.
DeVonta Smith vs Drake London final verdict
You could pit Smith against most WRs in the league and the fact of the matter is he's more than likely to come out on top eight times out of 10.
Sportskeeda's Start 'Em Sit 'Em tool is also high on Smith this week and with good reason. If the Eagles can iron out some of the pesky mistakes they made in Week 1, particularly when it comes to center Cam Jurgens and Jalen Hurts, expect the Eagles offense to click in Week 2.
