Jackson Mahomes, the brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is currently facing a sexual assault claim. Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has found himself in the headlines for some time over cases of sexual assault and sexual harassment.
In a tweet from the popular Twitter sports account, NFL Memes supposedly had Watson sharing his thoughts on Jackson.
Although the tweet is fake, the allegations of sexual assault by the younger brother of the Chiefs star are true. Mahomes is being accused of kissing a female owner of a restaurant in Overland Park, Kansas.
Despite the tweet being fake, it has generated a lot of buzz on Twitter as fans commented on it.

Jackson Mahomes latest: Police are investigating Patrick Mahomes' brother over sexual assault
Police are investigating claims that Mahomes assaulted a waiter and the owner of Aspen's Restaurant and Lounge. Owner Aspen Vaughn said the authorities have been evaluating the restaurant's surveillance video recordings as part of their investigation.
Authorities would not disclose a report of the incident but gave a statement in response to a call for information about the status of the investigation.
The statement said:
“The Police Department is aware of an incident that occurred on Feb. 25, 2023, at a business near 151st and Metcalf. The department is still investigating. Releasing any additional information would be inappropriate at this time. Anyone with information should contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.”
In an interview with The Star, Vaughn recalled the events of her encounter with Jackson Mahomes. She also provided a video purportedly showing Jackson Mahomes grabbing her by the throat and kissing her at least twice in her office shortly after 10 p.m.
Vaughn said:
“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere and I’m telling him, pushing him off saying ‘what are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”
Brandan Davies, a lawyer representing Mahomes, asserted in a statement that his client is innocent.
“Jackson has done nothing wrong. Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”
There has been no comment from Jackson himself on the matter as the investigation continues on.
