Antonio Brown's life as a whole can be described as a series of cautionary tales about what not to do. Despite that, his footballing talent has often outweighed his character flaws, seeing him repeatedly find his way back into the NFL, thanks in part to needy teams.

For some reason, the league somehow keeps giving chances to players with glaring character flaws. That said, it is hard to say if Antonio Brown will ever be fully discounted from playing in the NFL again.

After all, this is a man who threw furniture out of his apartment, nearly hitting a minor, and was still retained in the league. Finding him guilty of reckless driving did not seem to do it either. He was credibly accused of sexual harassment and reached a settlement with his alleged victim and that was not a bridge too far for the league.

Repeated domestic incidents could not curtail his pro football career either. The last time he had a warrant out against him was for felony battery and burglary charges for which he received probation. His NFL career still continued unabated.

So, what has changed, and can this latest arrest warrant finally mean the end of his NFL career?

What is different about the latest arrest warrant against Antonio Brown?

This latest warrant is more serious. He has been accused of domestic violence against an ex-fiancee by throwing a shoe at her head. Though it is alleged that the shoe did not hit her, it did brush her ponytail.

What complicates the situation, though, is that unlike the previous time when he voluntarily submitted, nothing of that kind has been forthcoming this time. He was allegedly in a standoff with the police. He currently remains on the run, instead promoting his music and not handing himself over.

This makes him an alleged fugitive on the run from the law. This is uncharted territory for someone even as crazed as Antonio Brown. If this keeps up, no NFL team will look kindly upon him. No one wants to be part of an organization that acts as a harbor for a person on the run.

The facts of the case might finally end up doing what other allegations and convictions could not. It might finally allow the NFL to stand up for what is right and decide that Antonio Brown should be consigned to history.
