NFL fans on Twitter reacted on Thursday morning when they awoke to the news that the former NFL wide receiver found himself in trouble yet again. Some said that we are looking at the downfall of not only Brown's career, but also his life. One Twitter user even compared Brown's downward spiral to that of former NFL player O.J. Simpson.

Others reiterated the fact that the wide receiver needs professional help to deal with his current psychological state. Some even joked that the wide receiver would find a way to blame Tom Brady. While a domestic violence charge is nothing to joke about, many used the opportunity to troll the wide receiver. Here are some of the comments:

How many times has Antonio Brown been arrested?

Antonio Brown played his last NFL game in January after deciding to up and leave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He did so in the middle of a game against the New York Jets, where he removed his helmet, pads and jersey and ran off the field shirtless.

Off the field, Brown has had a few encounters with the court system. He was arrested in January 2020 after he and his personal trainer were accused of assaulting a removal truck driver. He refused to pay for the services and assaulted the driver.

A warrant was issued in that case for battery and burglary and he turned himself in shortly after. He pleaded no contest and was given two years of probation, 100 hours of community service, a court mandated anger management program and a mental health evaluation.

While that was the only other time that he was arrested, he has been sued in civil lawsuits and fined for reckless driving and excessive speed in 2019. He was also accused of throwing furniture out of the windows of his 14th floor condo in south Florida in 2019. The furniture nearly injured a toddler below and the family sued him for damages.

He was also sued by a former trainer for sexual assault that she said occurred in 2019 and the case was settled for an undisclosed amount in 2021.

With the clouds once again gathering above the troubled former Pittsburgh Steelers star, we will see what happens next for him.
