Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season will have two talented running backs, Ezekiel Elliott and Zack Moss, trying to help their teams get wins. Elliott was important for the Cowboys last Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, while Moss failed to make an impact as the Bengals lost to the New England Patriots at home.
These two pose intriguing options for fantasy managers, and it's time to see who you should start in Week 2.
Is Ezekiel Elliott a good pick in Week 2?
The New Orleans Saints dominated the Carolina Panthers' rushing game on Sunday, limiting them to only 58 rushing yards. Miles Sanders, Chubba Hubbard, Bryce Young, Mike Boone and Jonathan Mingo carried the ball 20 times and ended up with a poor result.

Then again, this was against one of the worst teams in the league, meaning they'll have a tougher challenge in the Cowboys.
Ezekiel Elliott carried the ball 10 times for 40 yards and a rushing touchdown against the Cleveland Browns, one of the best defenses in the league. These two precedents make us think that Zeke could be poised to have a better performance against a Saints team that isn't as strong as it looked last week.
Is Zack Moss a good pick in Week 2?
Zack Moss had a decent debut with the Bengals, scoring a touchdown against the Patriots. But, compared to Joe Mixon's production with the Texans (30 carries for 159 yards and one touchdown), he didn't look like the guy Cincinnati signed to replace Mixon.
That said, he'll face a Chiefs defense that couldn't stop Lamar Jackson and let Derrick Henry score the first touchdown of this season. Moss should be in for a better game, especially if Tee Higgins remains sidelined with his hamstring injury.
Ezekiel Elliott vs Zack Moss: Who should I start in fantasy football Week 2?
According to our Sportskeeda Start/Sit Optimizer, Zack Moss is the right pick over Ezekiel Elliott. The Bengals have a special relationship with the Chiefs, which would prompt them to play at a higher level this weekend. Moss is due a big game and this could be the right opportunity to make fans forget Joe Mixon.
Elliott will go against an inspired Saints team, which could make life harder for him and the rest of the Cowboys RBs.
