The running back position is one that requires great strategic awareness in Fantasy Football. Most NFL players in this position, with the exception of a few elites, can be extremely inconsistent from week to week of a Fantasy Football season. They are often capable of putting up massive fantasy scores in the right matchups. Most also possess bust potential in unfavorable situations.

Tony Pollard - Dallas Cowboys vs. Houston Texans
Tony Pollard has exploded in Fantasy Football over the last few weeks. He has finished inside the top eight running backs in four of his last five games, including two RB1 finishes in the last three weeks.
He faces off against the Houston Texans in Week 14. They allow the most fantasy points per game to running backs. He and starter Ezekiel Elliot are both solid fantasy options in Week 14.
D'Onta Foreman - Carolina Panthers vs. Seattle Seahawks
D'Onta Foreman has officially taken over as the top running back for the Carolina Panthers, beating out Chuba Hubbard after Christian McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers.
He has responded by exceeding 100 rushing yards in five of his last seven games. The Seattle Seahawks are one of only five teams allowing 25 or more fantasy points per game to running backs. This gives Foreman a great shot to keep things rolling.

Najee Harris - Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens
While Najee Harris ranks among the top 20 running backs in total fantasy points this year, he's having a disappointing 2022 season.
He has finished inside the top 25 running backs in PPR points just four times this year. Week 14 presents a challenging situation to turn things around.
The Baltimore Ravens have been stout against the rush, especially since acquiring Roquan Smith from the Chicago Bears. They rank inside the top eight in fantasy points allowed to running backs.
Leonard Fournette - Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. San Francisco 49ers
Leonard Fournette appears to have been surpassed by rookie Rachaad White on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' depth chart for running backs. While he still holds value as a veteran backfield option for Tom Brady, he's better off avoided in Week 14 against the elite San Francisco 49ers' defense. They allow at least 2.5 fantasy points per game less to running backs than any other NFL team.
