The AFC Championship is still two weeks out for the Chiefs, Bills, Jaguars, and Bengals. However, just two teams have been given the green light to start selling tickets for the event. According to Alaina Getzenberg on Twitter, Bills and Chiefs fans will be able to get tickets to watch the game starting at 10 AM EST on January 18.

This led to an overwhelming response from fans accusing the league of either putting all of their eggs in one basket or accidentally revealing that they rigged the game. Here's a look at what is being said:

Why is there a chance of a neutral site for the Bills-Chiefs AFC Championship game?

Until this year, every conference championship game has been played at a site where one of the two teams has had home-field advantage. However, the Kansas City Chiefs are the first team in NFL history to win the number one seed and do not have the road to a Super Bowl run through their stadium, according to FiveThirtyEight via Fansided.

The reason for the switch was due to a canceled game in the regular season finale of Monday Night Football. The cancelation was made out of respect for Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who suffered a cardiac arrest after tackling wide receiver Tee Higgins.

CPR was administered and the safety was taken away via ambulance to a local hospital. After a lengthy stoppage of the game, the Bengals and Bills slowly released any will to play the game on that day. In response, the NFL suspended the game and eventually canceled it.

Since then, Hamlin has made a recovery to the point where he was released from the hospital. Since then, the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals have gone on to earn a Wild Card seed. Both teams are still alive in the playoff race with games set for this weekend.

The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Buffalo Bills will take on the Cincinnati Bengals, which will end up being a de facto rematch of the Monday Night Football game. The winner of the game will take on either Kansas City or Jacksonville the following week in the AFC Championship game.

The winner of that game will face the NFC Championship winner in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, February 12th at 6:30 PM EST. At this point, Trevor Lawrence, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow all have shots to make the big game. Who will represent the AFC?
