Former NFL MVP believes Joe Burrow will dominate Mahomes and the Chiefs in the AFC Title game

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow

Quarterback Joe Burrow has the Cincinnati Bengals back in the AFC Title game for the second consecutive season versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The superstar quarterback proved he could defeat fellow superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes last season. That being said, former NFL MVP Rich Gannon commented in a recent interview that Burrow will defeat Mahomes once again in the AFC Title game.

Gannon said:

" I just think that they feel like they've got something special, their quarterback that has that "it" factor. He has so many of the qualities and the intangibles that you love at that position. I think one of them is confidence and it's not arrogance, but it's his confidence."
"This guy, he just marches to the beat of a different drummer, going to Arrowhead, going up against that defense, going up against Patrick Mahomes. Trust me, Joe Burrow isn't going to blink. This is right up his alley. He is going to play well on Sunday."

Gannon added:

"I think when Joe Burrow was drafted three years ago, that first year, you know, it was kind of a transitional year, he got hurt. He came back last year and really played outstanding football and I just think that the Bengals are a different team with Joe Burrow. I mean, I think it affects everybody, it affects Lou Anarumo, the defensive coordinator."
"He can be a more aggressive. He's not worried about falling behind in a game. I think it affects what Brian Callahan does and Zac Taylor when they call plays."
